April Fools' Day

These are jokes made by the developers of Undercards for April Fools' Day, starting in 2017:

• 2017: Super colored cards were revealed and the default image for Undyne changed to 'Sexy Fish'.
• 2018: 'Sexy Fish' Undyne returned, while the images of Frisk, Sans and Papyrus got Sr. Pelo's Underpants design.
  • It also had Bot Mode, which was advertised as a way to play against a CPU, but was eventually revealed that it was another PvP mode where the opponent was disguised as one (who saw the opposite instead). This lasted the whole month.
• 2019: The first limited Skins were introduced, including a 'Sexy Fish' for Undyne. These are available for a week.
  • New April Fools' Day limited Skins got added every year since then.
• 2020: Alongside an unimplemented joke Patch Note, the Jevil Boss had a aestetic difference. Both only lasted for the inital April Fools' Day (after which the regular Patch Note and Jevil Boss were shown instead).
• 2021: During this update, all of the Game related elements became Among Us themed, since the game was huge at the time. Each soul had their sprite replaced by their color Crewmate, the background for all matches was the Cafeteria in The Skeld, and the Victory/Defeat screens were also their Among Us related counterparts. This lasted one day.
• 2022: Until the Mid-Season Update of Season 69, every Legendary, DT, and most game elements were replaced by low quality versions of themselves. Most were just jokes.
• 2023: The whole website became Spamton themed... Every Legendary and DT got Spamtonified sprites. This was possibly the most high-quality April Fool's Update.^[1]
• 2024: Sprite invasion. A new DT, New Cut Flowey, was added.^[2] (Next patch he was replaced by Clover) [update needed]
