This page summarizes all Passive Abilities/Effects of the 7 different SOUL Decks ever since their release in Alpha 2.6. All of them also have exclusive spells, whose names and status will be listed below their respective Deck's Passive Abilities. Check their own individual pages for more information about their old and new effects.

Spells were first introduced in Alpha 3.0, and were made of 2 Common, 2 Rare and 1 Epic. Since then, more spells were slowly added. Not counting replacements, new spells were added in Beta 6.6 (Common), Beta 11.0 (Epic), Beta 27.0 (Rare) and Beta 43.0 (Common). Additionally, Beta 30.0 added the Basic Rarity, and one Common spell of each SOUL became their Deck's Basic Spell.

While all players started with a Common spell of each SOUL before Beta 30.0, it is unknown which those were and when (and if) they were changed at the time. As such, changes to Rarity involving Basic spells will only be listed from beyond Beta 30.0 (and Knife will be treated as the default Basic DT Spell, despite being added in Beta 6.6).

Determination

Passives

  • Start with 3 lives. Can't lose more than 1 life per turn.

  • +1 Life. Add a random Lost Soul to your hand every 7th dead monster.
    • Instead of dying, use a life and restore 10 HP. Also gain the Save Artifact.

  • +1 Life. Add the next Lost Soul to your hand every 7th non-Token dead monster.
    • Instead of dying, use a life and restore 10 HP. Also summon a random Lost Soul.

Patience

Passives

  • Deal 30 damage to the enemy whenever they draw from an empty deck.
    • Doesn't work if the enemy is also Patience. (Post Alpha 2.6)
  • Whenever the enemy plays a monster, paralyze it. (Post Beta 2.9)
  • Whenever an enemy monster attacks directly, paralyze it. (Post Beta 6.8)
  • At the start of your turn, deal 1 damage to all paralyzed enemy monsters.
    • Also paralyze a random non-paralyzed enemy monster. (Beta 7.1)
    • If there's none, paralyze a random enemy monster instead. (Post Beta 7.2)
    • If there's none, paralyze the leftmost enemy monster instead. (Post Beta 49.1)
  • End of every even turn: Topdeck a Change of Winds if ...
