G(aster) Follower 1 was released during the Beta 5.3 Halloween 2016 update. Previous Versions can be found here. It is a Follower introducing the Future effect. As of Beta 46.0, this effect has been replaced by Synergy.
GF1 is a solid 3/3/3 with a Magic that lets you draw a card. However, that card must have a Synergy effect, limiting the amount of cards it can draw to 8 monsters: Spider Bakery, Spider Flower, Endogeny and all other Followers.
Despite the limitations, it is a staple addition to a Follower Deck, as it can be combo'd directly into another Follower.
