Pyrope's ability makes it useful, especially in large numbers, when wishing to surprise the enemy with damage that turn. This card automatically deals 3 damage to the enemies' HP at the end of your turn, including the turn it is placed, even through Igloo.


With its 5 health it will typically last at least two attacks and become a target for the enemy as damage can quickly accumulate with multiple of these on the field at once. Placing this alongside a Taunt card is suggested.

Increasing its attack is also a suggestion to protect it from Muffet's Pet, or at least from Madjick. On the contrary, you can also use Madjick yourself in order to make Pyrope a glass cannon, after buffing it in some way.
